Drag racing has become so ingrained in the fabric of auto racing that you often see one taking place in pretty much all corners of the world. When G-Power released the first M6 Bi-Tronic III kit, we were rather impressed by the stunning horsepower and pound-feet of torque the tuner was able so milk from the 4. G-Power added in a new ECU tune and a high-flow exhaust system to extract horsepower between 6, and 7, rpm, and pound-feet of torque at 4, rpm from the fire-breathing BMW V G-Power went to great lengths to also enhance the handling, braking and look of the M6 with additional components.
Making sure the body roll is minimal and that maximum rubber touches the road is the GM6-RS G-Power coil-over suspension. With the new tuning kit, AC Schnitzer wanted to prove that the model was specially designed for more: more power, more torque, more speed and more aerodynamic.
As expected, AC Schnitzer spent most of its time under the hood of the M6. The tuner updated the 4. With the extra 60 horsepower the M6 can now hit a top speed of mph - up from the base mph. The extra power required extra driving dynamics. New photos were taken of a pair of additions to the already impressive list of supercars that have been commissioned by the Dubai Police. And for our money, we expect a few more German vehicles added there before the dust settles.
Possibly an Audi or a Porsche? Maybe even an SUV, perhaps? The Competition Package starts by adding an extra 15 horsepower under the hood, so the high-revving V-8 engine now delivers a total of horsepower. Once the output was increased, BMW engineers made extensive modifications to the chassis setup. They have installed improved suspension and damping systems and retuned the stabilizer bars for added rigidity.
The M6 Competition Package also adds an Active M Differential with its own control unit that ensures a more direct mapping to enable firm and secure contact with the road. The car is offered with exclusively designed inch M light-alloy wheels and a sport exhaust system with the customary M twin tailpipes in black chrome.
Thanks to the new Competition Package, all the driving dynamics attributes of the M6 have been increased to their highest level. It looks like the Canadian market received lots of attention from Bimmer today.
The seat centers, lower dashboard and door inserts are offered in Merino Silverstone, and the seat bolsters, center console, upper dashboard and carpeting are offered in black.
The front and rear seats, dashboard, and the upper door parts are wrapped in black leather with contrasting Silverstone stitching. The special-edition M6, which was recently unveiled at the Spanish Grand Prix, is dressed in a fancy Frozen Black Metallic exterior to go with an equally fancy set of inch matte-black, light-alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the interior of the M6 Frozen Black carries a unique combination of carbon fiber trim with leather upholstery in Merino and Sakhir Orange.
No performance mods were given to this unique M6, so you can expect it to be powered by a twin-turbo 4. With those numbers, the M6 is capable of hitting mph in just 4. Click past the jump to check out the safety cars that have participated in MotoGP over the years. We obviously care a great deal about our cars and the way they look. R1 Motorsport believes in the same thing. Why settle for a standard BMW M6 when you can turn into one of the meanest cars on the block?
The program sets the tuner loose on the car working to take its performance to the moon. After they finish with the car, it will put horsepower to the pavement and an Earth-moving pound-feet of torque. We believe that all this power should be enough to launch the MH6 from 0 to 60 mph in a scant 3. We also expect an Autobahn-dominating top speed of around mph.
To accomplish the higher output a high-performance twin-turbo system replaces the stock system on the otherwise stock 4. All the straight-line performance is great on a drag strip, but what happens when you decide to take it on a curvy road? Well, to keep the car handling well in the twist, the tuner fitted a complete coilover kit to the car. Considering that competitors will be on high-powered bikes, this 6-Series Gran Coupe also has a powertrain - a 4. That engine is good for horsepower and pound-feet of torque, and mates to a seven-speed M double-clutch transmission.
BMW has built a lot of safety cars over the years. Check out a couple of other models that also served as Moto GP safety cars after the jump. The new BMW M6 seems to be much appreciated among tuners, as we have lost count of all the tuning kits we have seen lately.
A new one has been announced today by the guys over Manhart Racing who announced a performance boost and some new wheels. Under the hood, the tuner offers four different upgrade stages. In stage 1, the only update made is software optimization that increases the total output to horsepower and pound-feet of torque.
Stage 2 adds some downpipes that will help deliver an extra 20 horsepower and 29 pound-feet of torque to the Stage 1 kit. In Stage 3, the tuner adds an additional MHR axle back Sport end-silencer and a Carbon Air Intake System that increase the output to a total of horsepower, while the peak torque goes up to pound-feet. In Stage 4, customers will receive an additional MHR performance box that increases the total output up to horsepower and the peak torque up to pound-feet.
Alongside the performance upgrades, the tuner also offers a set of wheels sized 9. They are combined with a classical coil-over suspension or coil-over springs. To say that the Mirr6r program is shiny can be a little bit of understatement. The chrome finish on the body is definitely eye catching, if not glaring when parked under the sun.
Notice the new bonnet on the M6 that was installed by Hamann. That one, like the rest of the new components the German tuner added to the M6, is made of carbon fiber.
The program also gives the M6 a wider look, extending the width of the car by 40 mm 1. Hamann also did a great job in re-sculpting the M6 in such a way that its lines flow across the side skirts with its air intakes all the way to the rear spoiler, including the integrated carbon Venturi diffuser. And for added downforce, a new carbon rear spoiler was introduced. Inside, Hamann used numerous leather Alcantara applications to refine the cabin space of the M6 while also adding aluminum pedals and foot rests.
As an added option, the German tuner can also install a host of optional accessories, including illuminated trims in chrome. So stay tuned for that one. The aerodynamic kit includes a new front bumper with large air intakes and a full-carbon hood with venting slots.
For the rear, the tuner added an optimized rear diffuser and a stainless-steel exhaust system with a total of four tail pipes measuring mm 3. You probably already know that when it comes to whaling on cars, Chris Harris is our favorite. When compared to the guys over Top Gear, as he likes to have a little more fun behind the wheel and his reviews are always more interesting to watch — all due respect to the boys at Top Gear. The two sports coupes deliver a combined output of about 1, horsepower horsepower for the M6 coupe and horsepower in the SL63 AMG and, according to Harris, they "are the ultimate super-heated GT cars; fast enough to match a Turbo, comfy enough to cruise a continent.

Usually G-Power is the kind of tuner that makes quite an impression on us, but this time they managed to underwhelm us a bit. So the question is, how did G-Power went from offering cars like the Hurricane to offering individualized interiors? We can only find one answer to this question: there are people with a lot of money out there that need another way to separate their money from their wallets!
In this case, however, our eyes are now numb from staring at the sea of grey that G-Power created. The interior can be fully trimmed in a combination of premium Kjerba Nappa leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber. The front seats, rear seats and the door panels receive contrasting stitching and numerous G-Power logos will constantly remind you of who did the work.
Along with the upholstery work, the tuner offers individual Entertainment, Infotainment and Business Packages that will further customize the interior of the M6. Before you get really disappointed, we have some good news for you.

Details have been scarce at this point, partly because Risden is targeting a launch by the first quarter of , but we expect nothing less than a complete juicing up of pony power, in addition to a possible weight reduction, a suspension improvement, and aerodynamic upgrades, all of which Risden has been known to be extremely awesome at.
Judging by the photos, the aero components certainly speak for themselves. Today, after about one year of testings, the M6 Gran Coupe finally made its official debut today. The list of changes will include more aggressive front and rear fascias with the usual M-type elements, larger, inch M light-alloy wheels, and, of course, a quad-exhaust system. The front double-wishbone suspension has special M specific elastokinematics, specifically a negative steering roll radius, helping to make the car a little more friendly at the limits.
The five-link rear likewise gets special elastics and geometry. It sticks. Wait, what? Never has virtue been so cunningly cloaked in vice.
